Southern Women In Motion
Foundation Inc.
We welcome justice impacted women and girls to a safe, supportive environment, while providing them with the necessary tools to gain access to community resources and re-entry programs that form baseline pathways to success and healing as they return from the criminal justice system, or rehabilitation.
Nonprofit Organization 501(c)3
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is deeply rooted in the commitment to reduce mass incarceration and criminalization, alleviate poverty and homelessness among returning citizens, cultivate programs that promote economic stability, and prioritize the mental and social well-being of women and girls reintegrating back into their communities.
VISION
Our vision is to ensure that women who are released from prison, jail or rehabilitation do not end up living on the streets. We provide alternatives that are pivotal to preventing barriers, homelessness, and decrease their chances of facing recidivism and scrutiny within the community through our advocacy efforts.
